INTA is a global association of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property in order to protect consumers and to promote fair and effective commerce.
Founded in 1878, INTA has offices in New York (head office), Brussels, Shanghai, Singapore, Santiago de Chile and Washington DC, and representatives in New Delhi and Geneva.
INTA members are 7,000 organizations in more than 190 countries (representing 30,000 professionals) and supports them through policy development and advocacy, education and training, information and publications, and networking and benchmarking.
The Europe Representative Office was set up in September 2006 to better represent the Association to the EU Institutions, other associations and stakeholders, and to act as a local point of contact for Members, government officials and other stakehdolers in Europe.
