The port of Ravenna is the main port of Emilia-Romagna Region, that represents a key and central logistic hub for the whole national territory. The Port is part of the "Port System Authority of the Central-Northern Adriatic Sea" and is recognized as a "Core port" of the TEN-T Networks (TEN-T network Regulation 1315/2016), in the corridor Baltic-Adriatic, the Scandinavian Mediterranean and for the Mediterranean corridor. The port is a natural gateway for/to Europe and the Mediterranean and Western Balkan.
