This event is designed to share the outcomes of the Erasmus+ SALSIFI (Supporting Advanced Learning for Stakeholders Involved in Sustainable Food systems Initiatives) project, engage with policy makers, public authorities and grassroots movement experts, explore the content and deliverables, and reflect on the future value of the materials and the interventions possible using the project outcomes.
On day one, we will present the state of advocacy affairs in the project contexts by showcasing the Food Policy Handbook, featuring case studies and policy country reports from 8 European countries, explore the way public procurement and agroecology interact with advocacy, and unveil the EU advocacy component of our digital, four-module training programme.
On day two, we hope to engage in robust exchanges with representatives from grassroots movements and public authorities by presenting and discussing the ADVOCADO, our innovative learning platform which features 4 advocacy courses developing different skills for advocacy at various levels (local, national, EU, Eastern Europe), discuss on how to align our advocacy work as allies and start the participatory process to plan the 6th European meeting of CSA movements in 2024.
