Healthier Kids in a Healthier Europe

High-level discussion on child obesity prevention

The half-day event “Healthier Kids in a Healthier Europe” will offer the opportunity to discuss practical experiences and successful child obesity programmes that have supported children to develop a healthier lifestyle. It will take place Thursday morning, September 20th, at L42 Business Center, in Rue de la Loi 42, Brussels.

The forum aims to break taboos concerning child obesity and to understand how to enhance health in all policies, with particular regard to child obesity. The event is being organised by Nestlé and will gather experts from academia, policy makers, industry and public health stakeholders.

Experts are invited to share best practices and combine synergies in a multi-sectoral cooperation to help shape future prevention interventions, in view of the next European Commission Nutrition Policy debate will be moderated by Dick Veerman, moderator for Foodlog, the leading Dutch community in news and opinions on food, agriculture and society.
