Synopsis:
Lecture given by Dr Ingo Baumann, founding partner of BHO Legal
The lecture will focus on legal responsibilities for operators of space systems.
It will look at international space law, licenses under national space legislation, insurances, compliance with international or national standards and best practices concerning space debris, responsibilities arising from the use of frequencies, and relevant provisions under public and commercial contracts.
A special focus will be given to the longstanding discussion of liability issues for global navigation satellite systems.
