Airlines fly where passengers want to go and where it makes sense economically.
Surprisingly, there are still many barriers to that connectivity.
Too often still, European travellers pay unreasonably high charges, airlines are left in the dark on the costs they have to cover, and airports don‘t seem concerned with efficiency.
New data show that the current European framework does not support passengers benefiting from the revenues they generate when they travel.
