A Practical Approach to Intermediate Sensory & Consumer Statistics

Sensory Analysis Techniques - A Practical Introduction is a long-established 'hands-on' course that gives an excellent introduction and understanding of all aspects of sensory evaluation and good sensory practice.

Overview: A Practical Approach to Intermediate Sensory & Consumer Statistics will introduce you to statistical concepts underlying the techniques commonly used to analyse and interpret data. Each technique will be explained using real-life examples and you will learn the strengths, limitations and typical applications of each of the techniques covered. You will also practice carrying out the tests, using specialised statistical software, where appropriate, and will apply your learning through interpreting the outputs of the tests under the guidance of our experts. XLSTAT software will be used during this course and delgates will have the opportunity to use this after the course for up to 6 months as part of an extended licence agreement made by Leatherhead Food Research and the software supplier.
