Regulation of Innovations

With innovations being a motor of the economy and a number of new products as well as advancements of existing ones their regulation becomes a crucial part of food and feed regulation and policy. Therefore, the regulation of innovations will be on the agenda of this year’s EFFL Conference on 6 and 7 October 2011 in Berlin.What does the regulation of GMOs look like? What are the EU legal requirements for innovative food additives? And what impact do consumer information requirements have on competitiveness and innovation?
