A Future for the Common Agricultural Policy?

Event on the upcoming reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (Register for this event at: .)

Mairead McGuinness MEP serves on the European Parliament's Agriculture and Rural Development Committee and the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, and on the Petitions Committee.  Mairead is very active on agricultural and rural development, global development policy, the environment and food safety and security.   The specific issues she champions at EU level range from, the need for the EU to ensure security of food supply, double standards on food imports to global trade issues under the WTO. She will discuss the reform of the CAP and its potential outcomes.  The IIEA Brussels Branch will confirm the participation of other prominant speakers in the coming week.This event is open to members and friends of the IIEA. We particularly welcome newcomers. We would be grateful if you could inform us if you wish to attend.We would like to thank NASC for their support in organising this event.
