The Greening of Crop Protection. What future for integrated crop management

With continued pressure on the food supply chain to produce crops using a diminishing range of pesticides, attention is turning to the potential of integrated crop management techniques developed in the glasshouse crop sector to control pests and diseases in field crops. This seminar is an opportunity to hear the latest progress in crop protection techniques from an experienced group of speakers with industry based and scientific expertise. They will evaluate the potential for more extensive adoption of integrated crop management approaches in a wider range of food crops.More extensive adoption of greener techniques will ensure that pesticide residues are minimised but this will only occur if yield and quality can be maintained.
