VIRTUS is a 2-years project funded by the Erasmus+ programme which aims to create an educational program that entails vocational training adjusted to the needs of autistic individuals through the integration of in vivo training seminars and Virtual Reality technology.

This event will be an opportunity to discuss about upscaling inclusive vocational training for autistic individuals with new technology and share the promising results of the Virtus project.

Gareth D Morewood ‘Educational Adviser’ at Studio 3 will make a presentation on the ‘low arousal approach’ (reducing the level of stress) in the framework of education and training for autistic people.

Then the partnership will share the outcomes of the project including a training program focusing on 3 skill pillars (interpersonal, pre-vocational, and vocational skills) and using virtual reality!
