The Coding School is an international bootcamp aiming to equip youth with critical 21st-century coding skills, addressing the real needs of both the youth of today and the skills required by the labour market. Since 2016, in partnership with Boeing, we have delivered 18 editions of the course and trained 1300+ teenagers, of whom 70% were girls in order to help combat the high gender gap in the STEM sector. Given that 2023 is the European Year of Skills, we feel this initiative aligns very well with the EU’s focus on investment in skills education, particularly in the digital sector.  

This year ThinkYoung Coding School is organised for teenagers aged 11-17 years old. The program offers two levels of classes: one for beginners in coding to help them learn the basics, and another for participants who have previous experience in programming or have participated in past editions of ThinkYoung Coding School. During the bootcamp students will be introduced to coding through HTML/CSS and JavaScript classes, as well as game development and robotics.
