On 23 June 2023, on the occasion of the UN Day of Public Services, SGI Europe will organise an event on the 30 years of the Single Market. On this occasion, SGI Europe will highlight and reflect on the place of SGIs and public services in the EU social market economy.

The event will explore the different sides of the EU Single Market, the tension and reconciliation between its market and social components, its objectives, achievements, evolution and a reflection on its future, focusing on the role and place of SGIs and public services.
