What to expect
The hackathon is an online event where educators and professionals from across the worlds of entrepreneurial and educational practice are challenged to work together for half a day and create solutions for reaching the sustainable goals. Working in collaborative groups, you will have to find innovative training ideas to achieve one of the following SDGs:
Each group will have two hours to develop a training idea related to a chosen SDG and develop it using a Business Canvas Model provided by the organisers. The teams will be supported by facilitators, but will work in full autonomy to develop their project. Finally, each team will present their findings to a Jury of Experts in the entrepreneurial field. The best idea will be chosen by all the participants through live voting and awarded a special prize!
Due to the interactive nature of this event, participation is limited, and the organisers reserve the right to select participants should the maximum number of seats be filled.

Agenda
Tuesday 23 May (13:00 – 17:00 CEST) on Zoom
What are the Sustainable Development Goals and why are they relevant to entrepreneurial learning?
Increasingly, entrepreneurial learning is the approach to exploring new ways to reach the SDGs. Entrepreneurial competences are critical to enabling young people to innovate, start businesses, and generate their own employment opportunities.
EntreComp is the framework that is widely used to show what competences help young people to think and act entrepreneurially in life and work – supporting them to be entrepreneurial throughout life in different contexts and for different purposes.
How can it be used for these SDGs?
Gender equality – helping young people to understand how entrepreneurial they are, community programs to introduce girls to digital and entrepreneurial skills, training for women to develop AI-based businesses…
Quality Education – create teaching and learning to explicitly develop entrepreneurial competences, creating value for others through learner-led projects, entrepreneurial action projects based on calls-to-action from local community…
Decent Work and Economic Growth – design new training to support social entrepreneurs, skills programs for cooperatives, self reflection tools for business support organisations, developing training for scaling businesses…
