This online course will provide the participants with a comprehensive understanding of the EU environmental policies, supporting their preparation to the recently launched EPSO concours.

This online course will provide the participants with a comprehensive understanding of the EU environmental policies, supporting their preparation to the recently launched EPSO ;The course will focus on circular economybiodiversity protection and restoration, environment-related health risks. Participants will learn about EU legislation on waste, water, biodiversity, air quality and more. They will also be up-to-date with regards the latest legislative developments under the EU Green

The participants will learn about:

  • The scope and content of EU environmental policies
  • Key concepts such as circular economy, toxic-free environment, protection and restoration of biodiversity
  • The EU Green Deal, its scope and current state-of-play of main legislative proposals

Course methodology/highlights:

The course will be delivered as a series of online lectures with enough time to allow participants to ask questions in an interactive way. The participants will gain access to the EIPA moodle platform, where they will have at their disposal all the presentations used during the course, as well as additional reading materials.
