Strategic and Sustainable Public Procurement: Making it Work for Crisis Recovery

Understanding the Why, the How and the What of sustainable procurement, to help public sector organisations to better serve their citizens.

Over two days you will learn how to use procurement strategically, by going through the different phases of the contract with practitioners presenting their cases. The overview of real examples will shed light on the dos and don’ts of buying strategically while complying with the rules, and making the best use of public money.

Course methodology/highlights

The course will be led by experts who have decades of research and practical experience in public procurement in general and in sustainable public procurement in particular. Civil servants implementing strategic procurement in different countries and agencies will present their hands-on experience and the lessons learned.

The course delivery will combine interactive presentations showcasing practical examples, quick polls to consolidate concepts and group exercises.
