Follow in the footsteps of famous European masters and create your own European Winter

First explore a range of paintings in detail and, on the basis of a discussion, learn more about the stories behind the paintings and their artists. This will form the basis for you to create your own European Winter Wonderland.

After this introduction, it’s time up to ‘brush-up’ on your painting skills!  Base your painting on your reaction or interpretation of the stories, and add all winter elements that you like.

Did you know?

In the House of European History, we now have a new way of doing things. Fewer people are there at the same time and there are additional hygiene arrangements. That is why this workshop is currently being run for no more than 10 children.

Please make sure that you arrive 15 minutes beforehand. During the workshop you will also visit the museum. We recommend that you wear clothes that can get dirty!

The workshop lasts 90 minutes and is facilitated by an educator and an art teacher.

The activity is for kids only. Parents are welcome to visit our museum during the activity.
