The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the transformation of the telecom ecosystem and made connectivity more important than ever. European Commission President Von Der Leyen has committed to devote 20% of the €750 billion NextGenerationEU budget to digital investments. Against that background, Bruno Liebhaberg (Director General, CERRE) will moderate an exceptional debate with José María Álvarez-Pallete López (Chairman & CEO, Telefónica ), Cristiano Amon (President & CEO-Elect, Qualcomm Inc.) and Nick Read (CEO, Vodafone Group). Their conversation will focus on the corporate strategies and public policies and regulations in the telecom and digital sectors which can contribute to the EU’s recovery and strategic autonomy ambitions.
