EU policy makers are reflecting on the appropriate legal framework for the digital economy, asking a number of questions on the role and application of competition law and sector-specific regulation. Our two-day seminar provides expert insight on the relationship between competition law and economic regulation, giving an unbiased overview of EU and national level initiatives taken so far (regulations, competition law cases, studies).

• market power in the digital economy
• market behaviour of online platforms towards businesses and consumers
• data concentration, sharing and governance
• dynamic pricing practices – algorithmic collusion and personalised pricing.

• the competition concerns in the digital economy, including data concentration, access to data, platform-to-business (P2B) issues such as favouring, platform-to-consumer (P2C) issues such as data collection, and contractual restrictions on e-commerce
