The Path towards a European Welfare

The Path towards a European Welfare

At the crossroads of new EU elections, serious social disruptions, strained public resources, the timing to discuss openly about the Future of the Welfare in Europe is more than ever opportune.

With the participation of the European Commission, World Bank, and high-level Academia personalities, the event will try to shed light on how to generate and drive change in the design and management of Welfare policies in this complex environment through a multidisciplinary overview of innovative approaches, methods and tools.

The event wants to be an opportunity to go through the following discussion points:

-          More Protective Europe: reinforcing the social dimension through education, skills and innovation

-          A redefined Welfare state model for a more inclusive society

-          Enabling the transition: Investment, ICT, Employment and labour policies, Financing

A special attention will be given to the potential of digital technologies to disrupt the delivery of social and human services, in order to assess their ability to contribute to the creation of a more inclusive and participated socio-economic system.
