Deep Dive Week- Smart Cities

This DDW is targeted at Smart Cities, Green Energy and Infrastructure startups ready to scaleup.

Smart CitiesDeep Dive WeekLisbon is home to an emerging startup ecosystem that has been steadily rising in popularity, becoming a creative and tech startup hub. Lisbon is pursuing a strategy of urban regeneration enhancing green spaces and their connectivity, both strategies of which serve to create more jobs. The GREEN SURGE project is identifying, developing and testing ways of connecting green spaces, biodiversity, people and the green economy, in order to meet the major urban challenges related to climate change, demographic changes, human health and well-being, and more.

A Deep Dive Week is a combination of sector-specific “softlanding”, acceleration and ;

  • It provides support and guidance from local ecosystem leaders and gives know-how & access to ecosystem ;
  • A Scaling Manager identifies each startup needs and ambitions before the DDW, facilitating contacts during and after the ;
  • Deep Dive Weeks are most beneficial for startups that are ready to scale.

Startup Lighthouse will organise 4 Deep Dive Weeks in 2019;

This programme is part of Startup Europe - the initiative from the European Commission which aims to establish Europe as the startup continent. Selected startups will benefit from access to the larger Startup Europe network as well as be eligible to travel reimbursements related to the Deep Dive Week.
