5th Learning & Development 4.0 Seminar

Empowering Digital HR to drive business change

Recent research shows that the majority of global L&D programmes are not meeting employee expectations. Technology is found to be a particular area of concern. 78% of employees believe in the importance of their organisation leveraging new technologies for learning, while only 15% of HR Directors agree.

The modern workplace environment is evolving to include more field and remote workers; which means training increasingly needs to be accessible whenever and wherever employees need it. It's critical that HR Directors consider what their employees want and need when investing in their workplace learning experience.

The future of learning is going to be highly personalised, outcome-oriented and unrivalled in its effectiveness.

With new technologies continually emerging - AI, Virtual Reality, Augmented Learning, Cloud LMS, Gamification, Mobile Learning, Adaptive Learning- we need to review and assess whether our current learning programmes are as relative, engaging and effective as they could possibly be.

L&D professionals need to establish new objectives and must change their DNA from being tactically defensive course builders to becoming proactive, progressive and practical thought leaders. It's time for a fundamental shift towards digitally enabled learning and development.
