Over the past three years the ENTRUST Horizon 2020 project has been exploring the human and societal aspects of the energy system. On 26 April 2018, we invite you to join us in Brussels for an exhibition of results of this innovative exploration of people’s relationship with energy and the energy system.
The project has worked with six communities in five countries examining people’s everyday energy practices and their attitudes and opinions on energy technologies. The project has also researched and trialled innovative methods of citizen engagement and participation. The research has captured and described people’s experiences of the energy system, explored how they envision the energy transition, and examined what is required to successfully accomplish it – and in so doing gives much needed ‘voice’ to ordinary citizens.
Speakers will discuss insights into the ‘human factor’ in the energy system developed within the project, including:
Enhanced by visual installations, the presentations will emphasise the innovative aspects of the research, including novel participatory processes, and put forward recommendations and support tools to contribute to an inclusive energy transition.
This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, under the Grant Agreement number 657998
