EUSEW 2024 sessions - Multilevel governance: addressing energy poverty in the energy transition era

From Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 June, Brussels will host the 18th edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). This year the theme is ‘Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Europe’.

As part of EUSEW 2024, this session aims to explore and promote effective multi-level governance strategies that facilitate the integration of local insights, knowledge, and initiatives into the broader national and EU climate goals and policies. The focus will be on how to best address energy poverty, including the importance of collaboration and coordination between local, regional, national, and EU institutions.
