Come and learn more about Urban Innovative Actions, UIA, an initiative of the European Commission for cities to test new solutions for urban challenges.

The City of Gothenburg will present its full-scale project, the Fossil-free Energy Districts, FED, a unique local marketplace for electricity, district heating and cooling. The aim is to test new innovative solutions to become a fossil-free society and to reduce the use of energy.

FED is co-financed by the European Regional and Development Fund through the Urban Innovative Actions Initiative, an initiative of the European Commission for cities to test new solutions for urban challenges.
