Course of Impact and Exploitation of Research Projects in H2020

Madrid 28 and 29, June 2017

Horizon 2020, the European research and innovation program, is an excellent way of financing universities, research centers, companies and SMEs. But this participation is based on competing with the best. In this new program, more emphasis is placed on the expected impact of the project. This is a key issue, as the EC will not finance projects that do not impact on the expected effects. Beyond a scientific and technological point of view, it is necessary to generate new challenges in the drafting of a successful project proposal.

This course aims to train researchers and practitioners in the writing and description of "Impact", the most important criterion in the H2020 proposals. Providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to focus the effects of their projects on the new Horizon 2020 challenges.

- Know how to translate the H2020 approach into the writing of proposals, working on the applicability and impact of the project to be presented.

- To know the most common errors in the drafting of European R & D & I proposals and the factors that make a winning proposal.

- Know the different options for protection of research results and their particularities, improving the feasibility of the proposals to be presented and the negotiation capacity within the consortium.

- Orientation for the real commercialization and exit to the markets of the obtained results.
