The Sociology Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) is organizing A Panel on Interweaving Ethnicities, Faiths, LGBTIQ Genders and Sexualities, 1-4 May 2017, Athens, Greece as part of the 11th Annual International Conference on Sociology sponsored by the Athens Journal of Social Sciences.

The aim of the panel is to bring together academics and researchers from all areas of socio-cultural, anthropological and human rights studies and other related disciplines.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of social events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi.
