Managing Food Quality – Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting

Correctly applied troubleshooting techniques can help to clearly define and characterise problems and promote a culture of continual improvement.

Overview: Do you see the same problems recurring within your industry leading to down time, waste, customer complaints, staff frustrations or even product recalls?  This course will provide you with tried and tested troubleshooting techniques used within the food and drinks sector, plus practical guidance to use them effectively to help you define and characterise problems; ultimately promoting a culture of continual improvement.

When the focus is on solving problems by tackling only the immediate pressures, such as equipment repair to meet production deadlines, investigations don’t go far enough to reveal the underlying cause. This course shows how to carry out structured investigations to find the true causes, so that action can be taken to avoid it happening again and prevent more serious issues in the future.
