Overview: A Practical Approach to Basic Sensory & Consumer Statistics will introduce you to the basic statistical concepts underlying the techniques commonly used to analyse and interpret sensory data. Each technique will be explained using real-life examples and you will learn the typical applications of each of the techniques covered. You will also practice carrying out the tests, using specialised statistical software where appropriate, and will apply your learning through interpreting the outputs of the tests under the guidance of our experienced experts. XLSTAT software will be used during this course and delgates will have the opportunity to use this after the course for up to 6 months as part of an extended licence agreement made by Leatherhead Food Research and the software supplier.
