ESN's seminar on service integration features European experts; policy-makers; local, national and regional practice presentations; and input from panel members on outcomes for organisations and service users.
The purpose of this seminar is to present a literature and practice review of integrated services across Europe. The accompanying report will look at various forms of joint work of social services with education, employment and health services, therefore following a life cycle approach featuring practices with children, adults and older people. Moreover, it aims to promote mutual learning amongst public authorities by analysing different models of service integration and highlighting practices from different countries.Practices and policies presented at the seminar address complex challenges, such as vulnerable youth in transition to adulthood, excluded groups or poor mental health and wellbeing. The discussion will address the following question: ‘How are current integrated services organised, what works and for whom, and why?’ and will single out strengths and gaps of integrated services across Europe. Please express your interest via the link below.
