The conference aims to embrace all aspects of energy–related research, where chemistry and the chemical sciences play a key or underpinning role in solving the UK’s combined energy challenges of carbon emissions, energy costs and security of supply. The scope of the conference will be broad and will include all energy forms and technologies.Call for PapersThe call for papers (oral and poster) willclose on 23rd January.  The Programme Committee will assess papers for inclusion in the conference programme.   An abstract template should be downloaded from the event website, and abstracts will be published in the conference booklet.  In addition, both oral and poster presenters will be invited to submit a full paper for possible inclusion in a Special Issue of the Royal Society of Chemistry journal, "Environmental Science: Processes and Impacts".
