Our 3 day Hazard Communication course includes in-depth training on Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) and Exposure Scenarios (extended SDS) obligations.The first day details the re-classification of substances and mixtures to CLP (Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008) through the use of exercises to classify and select appropriate Precautionary Statements, this in turn will ensure that the new classification and labelling information is conveyed correctly.The second day will provide the attendee with a thorough appreciation of the requirements and structure of a compliant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for chemical substances and mixtures in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet Regulation (453/2010).The third day will explore extended SDS (or'eSDS'), covering the obligations to both authors and recipients of an eSDS, Exposure Scenarios (ES) development as part of the Chemical Safety Report (CSR) and how to integrate efficiently ES into the main body of the SDS where permitted.
