In recent years, Poland has developed into a dynamic market and has emerged as the sixth largest economy in the European Union. The year 2014 is a significant one - it marks the 25th anniversary of the first democratically elected parliament after the fall of communism, and the 10th anniversary of EU membership. The Polish Business Seminar takes a look back at Poland’s transformation from a centrally planned economy into a vibrant capitalist bastion, and addresses the challenges facing the Polish economy and its prospects for future development.The Polish Business Seminar aims to provide a deeper understanding of the Polish economy compared to other countries in the CEE region.
