7th International Workshop on Deregulated Electricity Market Issuesin South-Eastern Europe

On behalf of the International Steering Committee and the Local Organizing Committee we invite you to submit papers and participate at the DEMSEE-2012 Conference, which will be held in Bucharest in the campus of the University “Politehnica” of Bucharest.DEMSEE has become a tradition in South-Eastern Europe. DEMSEE is a forum for discussions on electricity market issues as well as the operation aspects of the interconnected power systems in South-Eastern Europe. Specialists from the region are invited to discuss with their counterparts specific topics related to deregulated market development and operations. DEMSEE also provides an excellent networking, good opportunity to establish new professional relationships and/or start new projects in the region. Market development experts and engineers from all over the world are also invited to share their experience on the proposed topics. Academic staff members are invited to merge their theoretical concepts with practical experience.Enthusiastic students are invited to present their ideas and work. Special rates will apply for students under 27 years.The DEMSEE-2012 Conference is organized by University “Politehnica” of Bucharest and the IEEE-PES Romania Chapter with the support of CIGRE and CIGRE Romania.
