On 24 April 2012, FTI Consulting (formerly FD Blueprint) will launch its 8th annual charitable Rugby Touch tournament, involving around 15 mixed-sex teams competing for the highly prized Blueprint Touch Cup. During the launch event – which will take place at the FTI Consulting Brussels office – MEPs Emma McClarkin and Derek Vaughan from the European Parliament Rugby Intergroup, will make the competition draw. The teams will play group games each Wednesday evening between the 9th May and 29th June followed by BBQ and drinks. Finals night and the tournament afterparty take place on Friday, 29th June. The Blueprint Touch tournament is a wonderful networking opportunity for people working in the European institutions and private sector as well as young professionals; to put it briefly, the Brussels community. All profits will be donated to RETRAK, a charity for street children in Kampala, Uganda and to Ecole Chanterelle, a school for disabled children in Brussels.
