Calculating the Expenditures for Revenue Generatin

Practical Seminar

EU co-financed projects – especially in the field of Infrastructure over 1 million Euros – which generate direct income, for example indoor pools, underlie Art.55 1083/2006 and have to be considered specially. These regulations affect the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Cohesion Fund (CF).     Difficulties are still in the implementation of those regulations starting from the application of required funding gap method for determining eligible expenditures of the ERDF/CF grant and extend to the question of the monitoring period. The seminar presents Art. 55 and provides solutions for its proper implementation. The practical seminar contains workshops and case studies for a better understanding. Relevant topics are: When does Art. 55 apply? (5 step approach)?Where revenue is generated? (reference periods, state aid, eligible costs)Forecasting Method and Calculation MethodsWhere Revenue Cannot be Objectively Calculated in Advance? (Refund Provisions)
