Brendan Halligan is on of Ireland's foremost political analysts. He is chair of the IIEA in Dublin. He has been, inter alia, a member of the Irish Council of the European Movement, General-Secretary of the Irish Labour Party, Campaign Co-ordinator for Ireland for Europe and an MEP.Brendan will discuss three challenges facing Ireland. The first is political and will be shaped by a new mandate for government following the upcoming general election. The second is getting the country back on an economic and social growth path.
