The workshop will provide a forum for the presentation of recent theoretical and empirical contributions regarding the role of real-time and survey data in forecasting macroeconomic and financial variables. The recent period of heightened economic and financial uncertainty has demonstrated the importance of a timely assessment of the economic and financial outlook and the associated risks for policy makers.Possible topics are the following: 1. Forecasting with real-time data and analysis of the revision process. 2. The use of micro and macro surveys in forecasting. 3. Timely forecasting and monetary policy. 4.
