Professional experience

Tomasz Kramer (PL) joined EIPA’s Centre in Luxembourg, the European Centre for Judges and Lawyers as a Lecturer in 2010. At EIPA, Tomasz’s responsibilities include developing, managing and delivering training and consultancy projects and activities addressing the needs of officials in the national administrations of the EU Member States and countries applying for membership of the EU as well as of the EU Institutions. He is also programme director of EIPA’s blended learning Masters in European Legal Studies delivered in cooperation with the University of Lorraine and involved in online learning activities.

Before joining EIPA, Tomasz worked for firms providing corporate legal services in Luxembourg (2009-2010). Earlier, he was course director (2006-2008) and freelance project manager (2009) at the Academy of European Law in Trier responsible for developing training programmes in the field of the EU internal market law, company law, competition law and regulation of network industries. Tomasz’s professional experience includes also positions as consultant with a consultancy firm dealing with investment projects financed by resources from the European structural funds and with drafting of an executive regulation on the National Capital Fund for the Polish Ministry of Economy (2004-2005).

Under the Erasmus programme, he studied one year at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the University of Rennes (FR). In 2006, he obtained a LL.M. in European Law and Economic Analysis from the College of Europe, Bruges (BE) and, in 2005, a MA in European Legal Studies from the University of Poznań (PL).
