Peter HANDLEY is the Head of Resource Efficiency Unit at the Secretariat General of the European Commission.
In this role, Peter is in charge of policy coordination for the Energy Union; the 2030 climate and energy framework, circular economy; environment, maritime and agricultural policies.
Peter joined the European Commission in 2001. He has served as head of unit in different DGs.
Peter holds a degree from l’Ecole Nationale d’Administration (France) and a degree from University of Bristol (UK).
