Professional experience

Marco Lopriore (IT) is an Expert at EIPA, specialising in structural funds implementation with a particular focus on the European Social Fund and simplified cost options. He manages EIPA’s framework contract with DG REGIO of the European Commission, as well as contracts with several structural funds management structures (for example, in Lithuania and Latvia). Mr Lopriore has also developed courses for the EU institutions in the areas of EU economic governance, the European Semester and Europe 2020.

Mr Lopriore holds Master degrees from the Free University of Amsterdam and from the University of Cagliari. Before joining EIPA in 2007, he was a researcher at the Economic and Social Institute of Amsterdam, an administrator at the European Commission’s DG Information Society, a delegate for the Italian Chambers of Commerce, as well as working as an expert for the European Economic and Social Committee and the SME Union Group of the European Parliament.
