In 1996 - 2003 Dr. Broich had been studying at German Sport
University Cologne where he got his diploma in sport science, diplomathesis: Analysis of Training and Matches Season 2002/2003 of Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Got PhD in 2009 in German Sport University Cologne, title of dissertation: Quantitative Methods for Performance Diagnosis in
Professional Football: Empirical Studies and Evaluation of Performance Related Parameters. Began professional career in 2003 in Bayer 04 Leverkusen as Head of sport science and performance diagnosis & Fitness/Rehab Coach. From 2014 until today he is the head of the sport science department
and performance diagnosis in FC Bayern Munich. Has several publications in practical and scientific papers, in international
peer-reviewed journals, and also leads lectures in sports congresses.
