Giles has a background in sales and marketing for blue chip FMCG companies. It was whilst working for Bacardi-Martini that he was seconded to Africa. The country proved so intriguing and so full of opportunity (and sunshine), that he ended up staying for 12 years and co-founding three online start ups in the fields of e-commerce, publishing and security. 

Now back in the United Kingdom, he is the Managing Director of BusinessBecause.  An online media company, it aims at covering fascinating, people-focused stories and providing useful information on choosing a business school and finding a job. They currently have 50 000 members and followers and a monthly audience of over 100 000 readers. Creating intelligent editorial and generating applicant leads for 80% of the leading European business schools, Business Because act as an extension to a business school’s marketing, PR and recruitment team.
