Prof. Arne Ring is a statistics manager in the industry and academia. He is currently head of statistics at Medac, and professor of statistics at the University of the Free State. Previously, he served as head of statistics at Boehringer Ingelheim, and at clinical trial units at Oxford and
Leicester university. His research focuses on clinical trial methodology in early phases (e.g. biomarkers), adaptive designs and the statistical evaluation of differential effects of medical subgroups.
