Anna Iara is a policy officer at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action, Governance and Effort Sharing Unit. At the Commission she has previously worked on fiscal governance, macro-financial stabilisation, taxation policy, and economic policy coordination. Before joining the Commission in 2009, Anna was staff member at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies. She holds a PhD in economics from the University of Bonn.
