The Learning Teacher Network is an independent, non-profit European educational network and association.

With the origin as an EU Comenius Network 2003-2006, since 2006 the network has been sustained and enlarged.

At present the network has a member base of institutions and individuals in 46 countries, covering all levels of education and training: from pre-schools and compulsory school to upper secondary schools, teacher training and universities.

The network unites professionals in education and training in the ambition of creating front-line strategies for and approaches to teaching and learning.

As such, the network acts as an international platform for professional debate in the vanguard of educational progress.

The network mission embraces Education for all, Education for lifelong learning, and Education for sustainable development (ESD).

Among other activities, the network arranges annual international conferences and organises Erasmus+ training courses.

Furthermore, the network publishes the academic journal The Learning Teacher Journal (ISSN 1654-0344) and The Learning Teacher Magazine (ISSN 2000-2610).
