PLANET project "Planning and Operational Tools for Optimising Energy Flows and Synergies Between Energy Networks" is a research and innovation project.
It aims at facilitating the full integration of renewable energy in the electricity grid, and the integration of electricity, gas and heat networks to allow full decarbonisation of the whole energy system.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 773839.
The three-year project started in Nov 2017 and is coordinated by Politecnico di Torino.
The other European partners are CERTH, FGH , Hypertech, Iren, ITM Power, Links/ISMB, Sorea, VaasaETT and VTT.
