Interpeace is an independent, international peacebuilding non-profit organization. Initially established in 1994 by the United Nations, we have a proven and recognized approach to enable people to build lasting peace. From over 20 years of experience history has shown us that peace is possible and we know that peace cannot be imported from the outside, it must be built from within a society. By building the capacities of local organizations and people to be change agents in their own society, Interpeace lays the foundations for lasting peace.
