The Institute for Competitiveness (I-Com) is an Italian independent think tank based in Rome and Brussels, founded in 2005 by a group of scholars, professionals and managers.

I-Com aims at influencing the public debate at Italian, European and international level, analysing the most important drivers for competitiveness and growth and particularly focusing on Digital, Energy & Mobility, Healthcare and Innovation.

In order to reach its goals, I-Com carries out surveys, studies, papers, op-eds and promotes closed-door meetings and public events, backed by a wide network of participants ( highlevel institutional representatives, companies and associations).

I-Com is member of the European Parliament’s European Internet Forum (EIF), the Global Trade and Innovation Policy Alliance (GTIPA) and PromethEUs, a newly set up network of Southern Europe think tanks working on digital issues.
