“Just Transition: Where is the European car industry heading?”

Stakeholders from politics, the private sector, NGOs, trade unions and academia will convene and engage in an open dialogue about the future of the car industry. The co-creative conference provides a space for knowledge sharing, discussion and mutual understanding in interactive workshops and with excellent keynote speakers:

• Judith Kirton-Darling (industriALL)

The event will offer four interactive workshops with informed speakers to discuss:

• Just Transition in the Central and Eastern European Car Industry
• Social Dialogue and Stakeholder Participation
• Ecological Transformation and Electrification
• Reskilling

The workshops are followed by a panel discussion with representatives from trade unions, private sector, policy makers and the environmental movement.

The conference is a joint effort of five European partner institutions in Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia co-creatively researching pathways for a Just Transition in the European car industry. The conference provides insights in their findings and will elaborate transition pathways and policy recommendations.

The conference is a networking opportunity and will foster debate among participants from all over Europe.
